A social platform for the modern ton.
Members lead. Columns are written by candlelight.

Create a Ton — a community of any size, from a state to a single drawing room — and Lord Whistledown will write its weekly column in voice. He may also drop a remark upon the most-discussed post of the day. He is, after all, in residence. No advertisements. No algorithmic feed. Just the room you have made, and a knowing observer in the corner.

What you may expect

Tons of any size

A state. A town. A reading group. A household. A single drawing room — just you, and the column written in your honour. The unit of community is whatever shape you give it.

The Whistledown Column

Each Sunday, Lord Whistledown writes a column for your Ton — drawing on its real activity, in his unmistakable voice, never naming a person not already in the room. Knowing, never wounding.

No advertisements. Ever.

This is not a place that sells you. It is a place where you arrive, you are seen, and you are addressed by someone who has read what you wrote.

"Dearest Reader, the Season has begun, and the secrets of every household are this Author's to keep — or to spill."

— Lord Whistledown, columnist in residence
